Hagan Evo System Automatic Brakes

The EVO system ski brakes on the HAGAN Core 12 EVO and Pin Up 8/10 bindings are heel mounted. They are held in retracted position by a catch mechanism, not by the heel tower itself. This means the heel tower doesn’t need to be built to hold down the brake, is lighter, and turns more freely without impact on the lateral release. To retract the brakes, just twist the heel to climbing position and step down. The brakes never need to be touched by your hands.
